Sustainable School Improvement

The Texas Education Agency is committed to supporting sustainable district and school improvement efforts. As part of that mission, it is TEA’s intent to maintain a directory of training programs that have been vetted and approved as Vetted Improvement Programs (VIP).  The Vetted Improvement Programs (VIP) List will be available to LEAs to support their selection of high-quality contracted services aligned with critical actions within the Effective Schools Framework. Vetted Improvement Programs (VIP) are approved providers for the 23-25 and 24-26 ESF Focus Support Grants.

  • Vetted Improvement Programs (VIP) are now under the State Approved Provider List (SAPL) as the Instructional Leadership Pathway; not all Vetted Improvement Programs are approved Instructional Leadership Pathway providers. Please see the LASO SAPL webpage for a complete list of approved Instructional Leadership Providers.
  • The vendor application window is currently closed. Our next opportunity for provider applications will take place prior to the launch of Learning Accelerated Support Opportunities (LASO) Cycle 4.  More information will be available this winter on the LASO SAPL webpage.
